The 80mm Vortex Skyline offers another practical entry into large-objective scopes. It features waterproof, fog proof performance (nitrogen purged), twist-up eyecups, fully multi-coated optics, and great light-gathering capability at a remarkably low price. With the included zoom eyepiece, the weight is comparable to the Kowa TSN-883 and Swarovski 80mm scopes. At 26 feet, the nominal close focus is about 10 feet farther than either of those scopes; however, there is individual variation and some Skylines may focus several feet closer than specification. Eyepiece is included.
